Privacy Policy — Horas Médicas
Last updated: 2026-07-10
Horas Médicas has no server and no accounts. It only opens each clinic's own official website in your browser — it does not collect, analyze, or send your data anywhere.
What does Horas Médicas do with your data?
Horas Médicas is a directory: tapping a clinic opens that clinic's own HTTPS website (or a Google Maps search for directions) in your browser. From that point on, you're on the clinic's or Google's site, governed by their own privacy policies — Horas Médicas does not see what you do there and never contacts a server of ours, because there isn't one.
The clinic logos shown in the app are bundled inside it as local images — they are not fetched from any external favicon or tracking service, so browsing the list does not reveal to anyone which clinics you looked at.
What is stored on the device?
Your favorite clinics and your theme preference (light, dark or system) are saved locally on your device only, using Android's SharedPreferences. This data never leaves the device, and you can remove a favorite at any time from the list.
Permissions
On Android, Horas Médicas only uses internet access, to open each clinic's HTTPS website, a Google Maps search, or a mailto: link to contact the developer. It requests no other permission — no location, no contacts, no camera.
No accounts, no tracking
There is no sign-up, no analytics, no advertising and no third-party SDKs. Horas Médicas does not provide medical care, diagnosis or booking itself — it only links to the public websites of independent clinics in Rancagua, Chile.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the "last updated" date above will change too. Given how Horas Médicas works, changes are expected to be rare.
