Privacy Policy — fasT
Last updated: 2026-07-09
fasT has no server and no accounts. It opens WhatsApp's own official link for the number you type — it does not collect, analyze, or send your data anywhere.
What does fasT do with your data?
fasT only builds WhatsApp's official chat link (https://api.whatsapp.com/send?phone=...) and hands it off to WhatsApp or your browser. The number you type is never sent to a server of ours — there isn't one.
What is stored on the device?
The number history, favorites, tags and preferences (theme, optional preset message) you create are saved locally on your device only, using Android's SharedPreferences. Cloud backup and cross-device transfer are disabled on purpose, so this data never leaves the device. You can clear history and favorites at any time from Settings.
Permissions
On Android, fasT uses internet access to open WhatsApp's official HTTPS link (plain-text traffic is blocked) and vibration for button feedback. Neither is used to collect or transmit personal data.
No accounts, no tracking
There is no sign-up, no analytics, no advertising and no third-party permissions. Sharing a link (via the optional "share" action) uses Android's native share sheet — fasT does not see where you send it.
Terms of use
fasT is an independent project, not affiliated with or endorsed by WhatsApp Inc. or Meta. It is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. Using it to contact WhatsApp numbers is subject to WhatsApp's own Terms of Service, which fasT does not control.
You are responsible for how you use the app — including complying with applicable law and WhatsApp's policies when contacting a number. Do not use fasT to send unsolicited, abusive, or unlawful messages.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the "last updated" date above will change too. Given how fasT works, changes are expected to be rare.
